This was the 31st year for The Bolivar Peninsula Lighthouse Krewe Mardi Gras and they took great care in the organization of the parade this year with emphases on social distancing for entries and spectators. We ask all persons to space 6 feet apart watching the parade from the sidelines & entries to social distance on floats or make them a family event. Participants were prepaid & sent a parade # online so they could be waved into the staging area from 6 feet away to line up. The weather was very cold but luckily the rain held off during the parade making for a very memorable day for all.
